From the Top: Brain Health Coaching Program using Neuroscience, Mind-Body Therapies, Psychology, and Nutrition

COGNITION DECLINES.

As we age, so does our brain.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t slow down that process. And we should, since our life experience is directly related to our cognition capabilities. Cognition is “the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses”. In short, it is how much our brain is capable of absorbing from the world around us and also from our inner world.

If you’ve seen loved ones going through mental decline due to a health condition, you know exactly what that means.

IT'S NOT ONLY ABOUT AGING.

Many factors affect our brain health.

Your brain does not exist in isolation. Scientific studies have proven that brain health and cognition are affected by:

  • Stress

  • Mental health (depression, anxiety, trauma)

  • Environment

  • Lifestyle

  • Nutrition

  • Sedentarism

  • Certain medications

  • Heart conditions

  • Diabetes

  • Alcohol and tobacco consumption

  • Dementia

  • Extremes of weight

  • Traumatic brain injury

And many others. That’s why it is important to consider the broader picture of your health and well-being.

To have a healthy brain, you must have a healthy body.

We will work those six steps into your everyday life in a way that suits your routine, personal preferences, lifestyle and time.

Why choose me?

My grandfather had Parkinson’s disease. I have lost my aunt to Alzheimer’s, and my father struggles with a brain condition. Brain health is a topic very close to my heart.

Mental health and cognitive fitness are closely connected to your lifestyle. Changes in mindset and behavior require a long-term individualized approach. My thera-coaching program does exactly that.

I am a board-certified health and wellness coach and Lifestyle Medicine professional, with a Master’s degree in Psychological Medicine and Mental Health. I’m also a registered yoga teacher, a mindfulness practitioner, and a nutrition specialist. I have received training in Nutritional Psychiatry from renowned universities and some of the best specialists in the world. And I’ve applied that knowledge to help many others like you. I’m a former scientist, and I take science very seriously. I only work with evidence-based approaches and am constantly updated on the latest findings.

After having experienced loved ones suffering from cognitive challenges, I took it to heart to learn as much as I could about it to support others. It would mean a lot to me to be able to support you.
